I am Dikeledi Mahapa a, grade 9 leaner at St Brendan’s. I am here to let you know that we are not disabled but just differently able. We are not GOD’s mass production meaning we are not like everyone, we are GOD’s special production, very unique.
Look at me, the shortest at St Brendan’s, this says that when God created me, He paused and thought about how special he can design me. Look at Morongwa with her special complexion do you call this disability, no I call it GOD’s art.
Have you ever taken your time to look at how Karabo walks ? Have you ever seen Ntsiene walking? WOW they are just GOD’s master pieces. So fellow learners and parents don’t treat us with that “SHEM” attitude. We are fine. We just need your assistance here and there.
To my educators please continue to attend to our differentiated needs. Morongwa cannot cope when there’s too much light entering the classroom, or when the writing are not clear on the chalkboard.
Karabo and Ntsiene cannot sit for a long hours, I cannot sit on high chair, so know our needs, attend to them and watch the space, we will perform like any other learners
Thanks for your time on this special day
